For our Anthem BCBS Clients…
We want you to know that we are working tirelessly to obtain insurance coverage for the families we serve. You have a right to lactation support and supplies for at least 2 years after the birth of your baby. At this time, Anthem BCBS of Colorado refuses to network with lactation consultants. This means that you do not have access to the care you deserve.
What this means for you:
You still have options. If you would like to book an appointment with us, you may still choose to schedule a self-pay or out-of-network visit.
Self-pay: Payment is collected at the time of service. You will be provided a “superbill” which can be submitted to Anthem/BCBS for reimbursement. We cannot guarantee reimbursement but we urge you to try.
Out-of-network: We collect payment upfront, then submit an OON claim for your visit. If/when the claim is paid, we will reimburse your visit fee.
